So who is Matthew Johnson?

Matthew Johnson, Magician, Juggler, Balloon Twister &"Real Funny Guy" is a
versatile and busy performer from Vancouver, British Columbia, who handles
everything from corporate events to family shows with the same dynamic flair.

Matthew began performing many years ago in his native England where he
developed his own unique style of magic. He has traveled the world entertaining
both young and old & after an extended stay at the Hilton Hotel in Japan,decided
to make Vancouver his new home.

Matthew has many top awards to his name including Best Family Entertainer in
2002, Most Inventive Magician 2002, Close Up Magician of the Year for 2002 &
Best Impromptu card Magic for 2002. Most recently Matthew was awarded the
Platform Magician of the Year award by the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians.

While his list of credits may be impressive, it's Matthew's sense of humour and outstanding personality that make him such a great
performer & lecturer!
The Lecturer

Matthew Johnson has been performing as a professional entertainer
for more than 18 years. In that time he has literally travelled the world
performing for both young & old in every venue imaginable. Matthew
has spent his lifetime (so far) honing his craft & over that time has
diversified into many allied arts. He is an accomplished Magician,
Juggler, Balloon Artist, Comedian, Actor & Inventor, "I just have to
entertain, it's my life!"

Matthew draws on his extensive background as a well rounded
entertainer to bring you a lecture that has won rave reviews all over
the world from all who have seen it. The lecture entitled
"Monkey Business" is an eclectic mix of Close Up, Stand Up &
Comedy Magic that just about anyone can do. You see Matthew's
magic is for the most part easy to do, fun to do & most importantly
FUN TO WATCH!

Matthew is also known the world over for his "Instantly Reset" approach to magic!

The Actor

Matthew Johnson is also an accomplished actor & has performed
in many TV commercials & movies.

In his latest commercial Matthew was flown to Argentina where he
filmed a TV commercial for the US insurance giant "Nationwide
Insurance". This hilarious TV commercial went US national & now
plays throughout the United States.

It features Matthew as a street magician making a car vanish.
